Baci Ristorante isn’t just a restaurant, It's a collection of peoples stories and cherished moments, all brought together by its tasty food. As for Dio, his story began in the year 1990 when he arrived in America. The following year, Dio started his journey with Bacis when it was previously located in downtown Plainfield working as a dishwasher. Quickly he realized that food held much power, food brought everyone together, food was the unspoken love language that everyone somehow understood. With that sudden knowledge Dio was eager to learn the magic that took place behind the kitchen doors and with the help of his ex-boss and dearest friends Franco Greco and John Perrie he was inspired to open his own restaurant following the closure of Baci back in 2010. Dio set out to Cherry Hill and started a restaurant named Cabanas Pizza until he was given the name Baci by Mr. Perrie. By 2013 Baci Ristorante and Pizzeria found a new home located in 1019 Plainfield Rd where it is currently serving authentic Italian cuisine run by Dio and his family.
